This job can almost be too much fun sometimes.
We’re working feverishly behind the scenes on a smarter, shinier, easier to use website for you, and a blog which makes it easier for us to post (so we actually will!).
Showcasing wedding and corporate events, as well as private celebrations, the arrival of new ranges to our hire depot and generally anything we’re excited and inspired by, our blog here will help keep you up to date with us and our musings, as well as offer inspiration for your own events.
But in the meantime, you will also find our old blog archived here, so you can dip in and check out our events over recent years.
Fifteen years and counting. It’s going to be another amazing year.
Form Over Function
Dream job status this one. Our client’s brief was exacting: high end cocktail party with dress circle view of the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
The email fluttered into our inbox like a dream.
Our details had been passed on. Peter Gilmore, executive chef at Quay, and Rene Redzepi of Noma fame, would be cooking together at Johnstone’s Kitchen Gardens, the farm which grows much of Quay’s heirloom and organic produce. There would be media and guests attending. An event under the umbrella of Sydney Good Food Month.
