A veiled cocktail hat, the reddest shoes, the reddest lips, the reddest nail tips, gently waved hair.
A wedding cake knife used by the bride’s parents at their own wedding, engraved with their names and wedding date, still bearing the ribbon used on that day, and now marked with Lauren and Mick’s names and wedding date.
A family crafting and sewing bee which saw the sharpest, most beautiful bunting we ever did see. All 50+ metres of spotty, stripey, chevron-y cotton bunting goodness festooned by us across the ceiling and along the jetty.
What’s not to love?
The styling for this harbour side wedding ceremony and reception, held at the Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club, just screamed bouncing off the jaunty red and white striped awning at the club, so we raided our hire range and brought in lipstick red cocktail tables and retro 60s white wire chairs, vintage wine barrels to act as bar tables, timber topped stools, our vintage ladder arbour for the ceremony, coir mats for the walkway and strung the ceiling with our strings of oversized Edison light bulbs (our on wheels warehouse platform ladder never came in so handy).
And we have to pay a special standing ovation to the anenomes which were in season at just the right time, in just the right colour, so we could weave that divineness into each and every arrangement we created for Lauren and Mick.
Hope you enjoy the stunning images as much as we did working for this special two.
